Here is where we fully immerse ourselves in the world of coffee: we touch it, smell and taste it and discover its peculiarities and differences and learn how to always recognize quality coffee. There are opportunities to observe the work of an expert Roast Master and see the coffee roaster in operation. This area is where you can try certified Specialty Coffee Costadoro and buy all the most innovative tools of the trade. Let your senses be carried away into the incredible world of coffee!
The bar counter, made entirely of recycled iron and wood, is where Costadoro’s organic fairtrade blend, RespecTo 100% Arabica, is available as well as Specialty Coffees and Single Origin coffees that can be sampled using a wide variety of extraction methods: Espresso, Filter, Chemex, French Press, V60, Clever, Aeropress, Cold Brew, Syphon Moka, Napoletana. This is where you find your perfect coffee!
This area is fully equipped with the best machines in the world where expert trainers, both in-house and external, hold both professional and amateur courses on coffee-related techniques. Do you work in the sector or just want to know more? The Academy is the place for you!
This industrial style area with wood, iron, tubes and taps exposed to view uses materials to bring the coffee, the true protagonist, to the fore. From the start, eco-sustainability was at the heart of the project - refurbished antique wood reclaimed from the roofs and cladding of mountain chalets and houses in the area; iron sunshades to reduce the heat from the sun’s rays and at the same time lower energy consumption used for air-conditioning; stabilized lichen for soundproofing and to purify the air; original vintage armchairs, takeaway cups in 100% compostable material and free-water stations so customers can quench their thirsts and refill their water-bottles.
Our carefully selected staff have undergone training at advanced refresher and improvement courses at the Costadoro Coffee Lab Academy in Lungo Dora Colletta, Turin. Course leaders include professionals of the calibre of Fabio Verona, Costadoro Quality and Training Manager; Manuela Fensore, World Latte Art Champion; and Davide Berti, Ibrik World Champion. Our staff is there to answer any questions you may have and guide your discovery of a vast exciting world that centres on the humble coffee bean.
